Post 50-Happy birthday Randy Jackson!

Today is the,American bassist, singer, record producer, entrepreneur and television personality, Randy Jacksons birthday! I love Randy, think he is awesome and love what he does. Randall Darius Jackson was born on June 23,1956 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He started his career with playing bass guitar for artists or with different bands. He played with Carlos Santana,Jerry Garcia, Jean-Luc Ponty,Journey,Billy Cobham,Steve Lukather, and Kenny G.And that is just some of the artists his's played bass guitar back up for.He has helped and worked with several artists such as CĂ©line Dion,Mariah Carey,Madonna,Fergie and Whitney Houston. On March 11, 2008, Jackson released an album titled Randy Jackson's Music Club, Vol. 1. He was a judge on American Idol and also produced a show on MTV called Americas Best dance Crew(one of my favorite shows!)Jackson has made a real good living in the music business and I applaud him for his successful work. Today he is 56 and I hope he lives longer. Today in honor of his birthday my quotes will be from him.

"We didn't play well, and (Wellington) is a good team that took advantage of our mistakes. But to be champions you have to win on tough nights."-Randy Jackson

"I grew up in Baton Rouge and learned to be a musician down there [in New Orleans]. I call it the only city in America that has its own brand of music."-Randy Jackson
