Today is a day that is very close to my heart.A day when people should gather and for once not fight with each another but have peace.Today is International Day of Peace. International Day of Peace started in 1982 on Tuesday 21 September.This day is dedicated to Peace and to the absence of war and violence. It was made to bring Peace to the earth for one day.It was made to bring Global Ceasefire and non-violence and to not only have it for one day but try to spread it through the world for years to come.We're humans and we are going to have conflicts.But we should solve our conflicts in a non-violent way.And that's what this day wants to emphasis.That ewe should live in peace not have to kill one another because of something so petty. I will be loyal to a country, but when you have to send your own people to get killed , especially when they are forced to go,that's when the line draws for me.Just going on Wikipedia and seeing the 50 page long Wikipedia article about the Military History of the United States compared to the Wikipedia article that's five pages long on the Military History of Switzerland is pathetically sad.I think this amazing day is not only to bring peace to a whole world but especially to America.Today in honor of international Day of Peace my quotes will be about bringing non-violence and Peace into a world that is filled with hate.
