Post 104- Happy Birthday Josh Hutcherson!

Today is Josh Hutchersons birthday! Joshua Ryan Hutcherson was born on October 12,1992 in Union,Kentucky. He has wanted to be an actor since he was 4.He started auditioning when he was nine and moved to California because of the limited opportunities in Union. The first movie he was in was American Splendor as robin. He wasn't really known until his performances in Polar Express,Little Manhattan, and Bridge To Terabithia. In 2008 he was in Journey To The Center of The Earth and his latest -and to some - greatest movie that he's in is The Hunger Games.I Personally thought he did a fantastic job playing Peeta, which from reading the books seems like a very hard role to play.My two favorites roles that he's acted is the role as Laser in the movie The Kids Are All Right and as Jesse Aarons in the movie Bridge To Terabithia. I love Josh not just because he's cute but because he's a fantastic actor and that's not an opinion ,that's a fact.He holds himself up high and is a very good out in public unlike some other singers and actors( "cough"*Justin Bieber*). I am very inspired with his acting. How deep he can be.How he can pull you in.In the Hunger Games books it repeatedly talks about  the way Peeta talks and the way he looks at you, that you could believe anything that came out of his mouth. That he could say something so weak and make sound so powerful. And I think Josh Hutcherson has the same gift.I am inspired by how pose he is and his acting and someday hope to be able to touch people with words without knowing.Today to celebrate his 20th birthday my quotes will be from him.

"As an actor, you imagine every single day on set. So, as we already use our imaginations every day anyway, we just have to stretch it out just a little bit farther and imagine that, not only are we different people, but we're in an entirely different world. Sure, it can be hard sometimes, but you just have to use your imagination and rely upon everyone else to give you the right tools you need to make it seem real."-Josh Hutcherson

"I never really read a character before that I connected with more than Peeta. So, for me, if I couldn't get that job I was like, 'Well, if I can't play practically myself in a movie, what can I play?" -Josh Hutcherson

Post 103-Happy Birthday CeCe Winan

Priscilla "CeCe" Marie Winans was born on October 8,1964 in Detroit, Michigan. She started her career in 1995 with her debut album  Alone in His Presence. She has made ten albums. She has won 8 Grammys and 20 Dove Awards. She is such a successful gospel singer but all these awards and achievements isn't what I'm inspired by.What I'm inspired by is her passion and soul in music.I think she is one of the best gospel singers ever, not only because she has a great voice but also because she is so passionate and has so much soul when she sings. She puts the truth into what she sings and  is not just like some singers who "just sing".She does more than "just singing", she inspires. So today to celebrate her birthday my quotes will be from her.

[About wanting the children available to travel with her]: "These are the years that I need watch them the most. They're going through little adolescent changes; they're growing up, and it's real important I'm not away from them for long periods of time. Sometimes I want to make them go with me whether they want to or not. Home-schooling has allowed me to do that."-CeCe Winans

[About Whitney Houston, who's her best friend]: "We're like sisters. We laugh forever, have a good time."-CeCe Winans

Post 102-Happy birthday Truman Capote

Today is Truman Capote's birthday. I LOVE Truman Capote. He is one of the best authors ever in my opinion and I'm excited to do my blog on him. Truman Streckfus Persons was born on September 30th,1924 in New Orleans,Louisiana. His parents divorced when he was four and he moved to Monroe,Alabama to live with some of his Moms relatives. He lived there for about five years. His neighbor and friend while growing up there was author Harper Lee who later wrote the 1960 novel To Kill a Mockingbird, with the character Dill being based on Capote. In 1933 he moved to New York to live with his Mom and her second Husband,Joseph Capote.Truman was adopted by his step-father and given the name Truman Capote. He grew up the rest of his childhood in Greenwich,Connecticut. He attended Trinity School and Greenwich high school for is education. It is said that Capote found his talent at age 11 and that he always carried a notepad and dictionary around with him as a kid.He had a very sad and lonely childhood and was said that he was always known as the "different one". And His first novel Other Voices,Other Rooms(LOVE THIS TITLE) explains that. I love this story and I haven't even read it yet(looking at summary's of this book online). This story is based on his childhood and what it felt like growing up and realizing his identity as being Homosexual .He described the book as "a poetic explosion in highly suppressed emotion." It was published in 1948.He then took a break after that and went into stage and screen. Then in 1958 Breakfast at Tiffany's: A Short Novel and Three Stories was published. My favorite movie was based on this novel and I LOVE this book. I thank him SO MUCH for his creation. Because without him my favorite movie wouldn't have existed and I wouldn't be the person my am today. I am speechless when it comes to describing how much I love this book and just how it came to be. All I can say is Thank you. His final book was In Cold Blood which was on the unexplained murder of the Clutter family in rural Holcomb, Kansas. It took him four years to research and write the book.He became well acquainted with lots of the towns residents and everyone that was involved in the investigation. It is also said that he even knew the murders and went to go see them often. The book was published in 1966.Truman Capote died on August 24th,1984 in Los Angeles,California. But His work will live on forever. He has inspired me so much.He has inspired me to write more often,to write about things that are different and out there. And he has inspired me not to hold back.Thank you Truman Capote.I Love You! Today my quotes will be from him.

although those are good too-but because of the weather.I love the cold autumn air. The leaves falling from trees swiftly to the ground. The wind blowing and in the city with the cars honking and noise all around you but yet it some how still feels peaceful.I also love the fashion you get to wear. Those fall colors and awesome cute cut boots. The sweater and pea coats. All the purples, oranges, and reds you can imagine.I love fall and so excited its finally here. Now I'm just waiting for snow! Today to celebrate fall and its beautiful coat my quotes will be about fall.

“Her pleasure in the walk must arise from the exercise and the day, from the view of the last smiles of the year upon the tawny leaves and withered hedges, and from repeating to herself some few of the thousand poetical descriptions extant of autumn--that season of peculiar and inexhaustible influence on the mind of taste and tenderness--that season which has drawn from every poet worthy of being read some attempt at description, or some lines of feeling.” ― Jane Austen, Persuasion

“Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.” ― George Eliot

Post 99-International Day of Peace

Today is a day that is very close to my heart.A day when people should gather and for once not fight with each another but have peace.Today is International Day of Peace. International Day of Peace started in 1982 on Tuesday 21 September. This day is dedicated to Peace and to the absence of war and violence. It was made to bring Peace to the earth for one day.It was made to bring Global Ceasefire and non-violence and to not only have it for one day but try to spread it through the world for years to come. We're humans and we are going to have conflicts. But we should solve our conflicts in a non-violent way.And that's what this day wants to emphasis. That ewe should live in peace not have to kill one another because of something so petty.  I will be loyal to a country, but when you have to send your own people to get killed , especially when they are forced to go,that's when the line draws for me.Just going on Wikipedia and seeing the 50 page long Wikipedia article about the Military History of the United States compared to the Wikipedia article that's five pages long on the Military History of Switzerland is pathetically sad.I think this amazing day is not only to bring peace to a whole world but especially to America.Today in honor of international Day of Peace my quotes will be about bringing non-violence and Peace into a world that is filled with hate.

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace."- Jimi Hendrix

"Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one. "-John Lennon

"God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing." -C. S. Lewis

"A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe. "-Wayne Dyer

"Peace begins with a smile. "-Mother Teresa

"We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves."-Dalai Lama
